Join us for our 2023 ACT Geospatial Conference and Excellence Awards. Come together with colleagues old and new at QT Canberra and hear the latest from across the local geospatial industry.

Immediately following the conclusion of sessions, we will be holding the Geospatial Excellence Awards Reception, where all attendees will have the chance to enjoy drinks and canapes whilst networking and celebrating the local winners.

Program

This year we are looking to the future, encouraging conversations around digital transformation and digital twin capability. Digital transformation is taking place across all levels of government, industry, and research and we want to hear how you or your organisation is preparing for the future.

The call for abstracts for the event is now open!

Speakers are invited from across the geospatial industry, including surveying (cadastral, engineering, hydrographic, mining), GIS, data, earth observation professionals and any other industry dealing with geospatial information.

We have suggested some topics below for presentations, but don't limit yourself to these!  If you have an interesting project or experience to share, we would love to hear it.

•  How are individuals upskilling in this digital age?
•  How can business digitally transform?
•  Influencing interaction between industry and government
•  Geospatial Data Governance and Sharing

So have your say and submit now! The conference will have a mix of plenary, concurrent sessions, lightning talks, and panels. Successful applicants will receive a 50% discount on their registration to the event.

For those ACT professionals who hold Geospatial Council ESP-AP or Hydrography certification, this event will be allocated six (6) GCA CPD points.
