Webinar Recording: Latest Innovations in GNSS
RegisterPeter Terrett, Managing Director of 4D Global (GNSS hardware sales, support, training and consulting) and GNSS Positioning Specialist for the Rapid Map Global Group discusses the Latest Innovations in GNSS.
As a former Geodetic and Topographic Surveyor for the Victorian state government, Peter was an early adopter of GPS in early 1986. It became a basic instrument he used regularly at a time when the technology was relatively unknown.
Realising it was the way of the future he furthered his interest and knowledge and in 1991 he went into business to sell, support, train and consult on the application of GPS technology. Although the business grew in several directions (field services, software development and desktop GIS and mapping), Peter continued his passion for GPS as it rapidly innovated to become transparent in most people’s lives.
Peter speaks from a background in using GPS for more than 38 years and having sold and supported many 1,000’s of receivers in a very large variety of industries. Over the years, Peter has delivered many papers at conferences in Australia and overseas and trained more than 2,000 industry professionals.
