The Australasian Hydrographic Society (AHS) is pleased to announce that its internationally recognised hydrographic conference program will return in 2024. The four-day "HydroSpatial 2024 Conference" will be held 9-12 April in nipaluna/Hobart, lutruwita/Tasmania, at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hotel. 

The Conference theme “At the Edge” represents not only the island state’s location in the Southern Ocean, but also the cutting edge science and technology that we employ every day in the hydrospatial field. Focusing on the future of hydrography, and emerging developments and techniques, Hydrospatial 2024 will bring together speakers from varying maritime fields including: specialist hydrographic streams, maritime transport, oceanography, research organisations, offshore exploration, environmental science, maritime heritage, defence, tourism, coastal development, ports and harbours, Law of the Sea, and government.

The Australasian Hydrographic Society welcomes hydrographic and related professionals plus anyone interested in our changing world to the Hydrospatial 2024 Conference: 'At the Edge’. Further details of the event will be posted on the website and also on the Society’s website (www.ahs.asn.au) during the next few months.

1. Refunds for Geospatial Council events are available up to seven (7) days prior. There are no refunds after this date, however registration can be transferred to a colleague. 2. Attendees at Geospatial Council events acknowledge they may be photographed and these images may be used by GCA on social media, our website or similar for marketing purposes. 3. Contact details (name, company and email address only) of event attendees may be provided to event sponsors for marketing purposes. Attendees will have the option to opt out of further communications.
