We are pleased to invite all geospatial professionals to join us on World GIS Day to take a look at how geospatial professionals are using technology for a better tomorrow.

This is our annual conference, in a half day format - work in the morning, learn and network in the afternoon! As always, it promises to be a great opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the geospatial community.

Immediately following the conclusion of the sessions, we will be holding the Geospatial Excellence Awards Reception, where all attendees will have the chance to enjoy drinks and canapes whilst networking and celebrating the worthy WA winners for 2023.

The program will have presentations from the WALIS team on indigenous place naming, as well as presentations on local infrastructure projects, biodiversity, space and more. Technology for Tomorrow is a theme that resonates across multiple sectors and geospatial professionals are at the cutting edge.

Registration offers great value, with all attendees receiving lunch on arrival, afternoon tea, drinks and canapes, as well as the chance to hear from some outstanding speakers.

GCA members and all WALIS members (that is anyone who works for a government agency in Western Australia) receive a special discounted rate of only $150. Non-members are only $225.

Students - take the chance to learn and connect with a special rate of only $75! To receive this you must be a member of the Geospatial Council but this is easy and free here !

Did you put a nomination in for the Geospatial Excellence Awards and can't make the whole event?  You are welcome to purchase a ticket to just the Awards Reception from 5.00 - 7.00pm. Tickets are just $75 and all are welcome!

1. Refunds for Geospatial Council events are available up to seven (7) days prior. There are no refunds after this date, however registration can be transferred to a colleague. 2.
