Webinar: BIM and GIS Integration
RegisterIn this webinar, we explored the convergence of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS); exploring current developments and future opportunities with geoBIM.
The session began with an introduction to the use cases of BIM in GIS and explored real-world examples to showcase successful projects where BIM and GIS were effectively combined to deliver project outcomes.
This webinar included a practical guide for implementing BIM-GIS workflows and addressed data interoperability, different platforms, data exchange, spatial analysis, and regulatory considerations to provide crucial tips and best practices for delivering geoBIM projects.
Lastly, there was discussion on emerging technologies and trends that are set to shape the future of BIM and GIS integration. From open data and interoperability to mobile geoBIM for mobilising field workers, the session explored the tools that are transforming the industry.
