Meet our speakers

Kate Ramsay
Kate is a longstanding member of the Australian geospatial community, having built her expertise in the areas of customer success and customer experience, product development, support, client enablement and management. She is the Group Chief Client Officer for Esri Australia and Esri South Asia, and leads teams across the APAC region, actively promoting the value of GIS and championing the efforts of some of the region's most innovative spatial practitioners to decision-makers within the private and public sectors.

Lisa Dykes
Born and raised in South Africa with a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies, and having lived in Canada and New Zealand, and worked in Malaysia and all across Australia, Lisa has worn many hats over a career spanning more than two decades. She currently leads the Products Group within NGIS, where she is passionate about geospatial software and data being used to tackle significant topics such as sustainable development, disaster risk mitigation and managing the impacts of climate change.
Her skillsets include team leadership, strategic business development, sales and marketing alignment, customer success and partner management, but most of all she enjoys a chat and having a laugh. She loves her job of working with smart people who thrive on using digital technology to address some of the world's most important social and environmental issues.

Aneeta Nathan

On a whim Aneeta took a GIS course during her undergraduate degree at ANU in 2013. She only got a Credit for the course but she loved it so much she decided to go all in and pursue it as a career. 11 years later she has worked in the private sector conducting analysis on the health of Melbourne waterways, helped track elephants in rural Kenya, managed the ecological assessments on the UK’s HS2 and is finally working out how to measure and monitor 2 million hectares of regenerated land across Eastern Africa. It hasn’t been smooth sailing all the way but she’s still so grateful she took a chance on a random subject all those years ago.
