Survey: The Value of Geospatial Information to Australia

Survey: The Value of Geospatial Information to Australia

On behalf of the Geospatial Council of Australia, ACIL Allen is conducting a survey on the current and future value of geospatial information to Australian businesses, government departments and/or communities. Information gathered in the survey will be aggregated and used to contribute to the overall estimate of value to the Australian economy, as part of our upcoming Economic Impact Study.

As a relevant stakeholder and user of geospatial information and technology, we are seeking information on up to three examples of current or emerging geospatial technologies and how it impacts your level of productivity now, and/or in the future.

To access the survey, please click here or scan the QR code below to access the survey via your mobile phone.

As a thank you for completing the survey, you will be automatically entered into a draw to win a ticket to Australia’s premier geospatial conference Locate 24 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney to be held between the 7th and 9th of May 2024.

The survey will be open until the 29th of February 2024 and can be completed in more than one sitting using your unique “Come-back-Later” Code that will be generated once you commence the survey. To begin the survey, select “New Code”.

We appreciate you taking the time to answer this survey which will help inform the government, industry and society on the value of spatial and location information services, and how this may change over time.

All individual survey responses will remain Commercial-in-Confidence, and if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to info@geospatialcouncil.org.au.
