The Geospatial Council of Australia is a proud partner of Curtin’s Earth & Planetary Sciences Awards – congratulations to Dr Amir Allahvirdizadeh, awarded the D B Johnston Award for Excellence in Postgraduate studies in the spatial sciences area; Kai Wai Hung, awarded the Tony Pivac prize for being the dux of the Bachelor of Science (Mine and Engineering Surveying) course, and Jack Henharen who was awarded the John Forrest Prize for continuous outstanding work within the Bachelor of Surveying Honours program.
