EOI for ISPRS symposium workshops

EOI for ISPRS symposium workshops

Expressions of interest are sought from teams or individuals interested in holding a workshop during the mid-term symposium of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) Technical Commission IV: Spatial Information Science. Submissions for the EOI close Monday 31 July.

The Geospatial Council of Australia is co-host of the symposium to be held in Perth at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle from Tuesday 22 – Friday 25 October 2024, offering an opportunity for photogrammetry and remote sensing professionals from across Australia and the world to connect, network, and enhance their knowledge.

The theme is Spatial information to empower the metaverse with a focus on digital twins, which have developed as a critical technology that offers a platform for the testing and analyses of complex systems, which would be impossible to perform with traditional simulators and modular evaluations.

On Tuesday 22 October there will be a number of workshops giving attendees the opportunity to deep dive into relevant issues, technologies and more. An example of the workshops held for the last symposium are here for reference.

If you or your team are interested in holding a workshop as part of the program, please complete this form by Monday 31 July. Presenters of workshops receive complimentary one day registration only and will be expected to register for the remainder of the event should they wish to attend.
